Routes of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra

Kailash Mansarovar yatra is one of the pilgrim’s journey for Hindus. It is a difficult tour and not everyone qualifies for this tour. There are many permissions required before beginning the Mansarovar yatra. The reason for that is Kailash Mansarovar yatra route passes from China territory. Both the governments of India and China have to play their parts in this tour.

Lipulehk Pass Route

There are two routes currently available for this tour. First routes passes through Uttrakhand “Lipulehk Pass”. This is the older route for the Mansarovar tour. There are 18 batches available for the tour and time duration is about 24 days. Time duration may vary depends on the weather conditions of the routes. Estimated cost is around 1.6 lakh per person. Nathu La Route

The other path is goes through the Sikkim and known as “Nathu La”. This route is relatively shorter than Lipulekh Pass and safer too. The time duration for the journey is 21 days. It has about 10 batches. The estimated cost for per person for this tour is 2 lakhs. Check the route below.

 There is another option for the journey. It’s the helicopter route. In the above routes, you have to travel through roads. But if you don’t like the go though roads and have fewer days for the journey then you can opt for the helicopter tour.
